The client on this project was RFCA Yorkshire & Humber who are responsible for the maintenance of all MOD Sites for the area.

Our client appointed us as Principle Contractor on this project to undertake a full re-roof on one of the office blocks within Carlton Barracks, Leeds, due to many years of various failed patch repairs to the existing torch on felt roof that had clearly come to the end of its lifespan.
On receipt of the agreed specifications from the client, Arrow Developments programmed all relevant in-house trades to undertake all alterations to the roof including electrical, joinery and roofing. As at Arrow Developments are a Sika Approved Contractor, so the covering we used here was a Sika Single Ply Membrane with Plastisol cappings to the Parapet wall, fully sealed and a 20 year guarantee issued by Sika.
As stated above, Arrow Developments is a Sika Approved Contractor, this means our roofers have undergone specific Sika training in Sika Single Ply and Sika Liquid Applied Membranes. Both come with between 10 and 20 year guarantees. By using the Sika products, we have eliminated the use of Hot Works, such as Torch on Felt, which then reduces risk, which a lot of our client prefer now prefer. The other good thing about using the Sika products is, they can be applied onto any surface and still be guaranteed to out last the original products.
